Start with one export
Download Companion 0.9.0, extract ForeverWoWExport into your Forever client's Interface/AddOns and restart the game completely. Open the minimap icon, then Web, or type /fwwexport. Copy the entire JSON using Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C.
Paste it on the Companion page, review the name, realm, class and date, then confirm. Guests keep a browser-local profile; signed-in players save imports privately to their account. Matching characters update. Older exports enter history without replacing a newer snapshot.
Optional file reading
Desktop Chrome and Edge can read a selected ForeverWoWExport.lua under WTF/Account/…/Realm/Character/SavedVariables. First run /fwwexport and /reload after installation. Review the import before enabling updates for that character.
The web reads only your chosen file. It never modifies it or executes Lua, and never uploads the complete file. It reads updates after /reload or logout while this web app is open. This is not a live feed of every game change. Another character or account requires confirmation; you can stop reading at any time.
What to check after importing
Open Next steps in My journey. Ready quests come first, followed by bag equipment candidates, observed trainer offers and an active quest. Copy a game command and paste it into chat yourself to open the corresponding addon detail.
The overview shows the export date. Missing quest or trainer observations are unknown, not zero. Sharing is a separate choice. This does not verify character ownership and never requires a Battle.net password.
